Private Violin Lessons for Creative Excellence

Succeed on Stage,
Succeed in Life

Welcome to Artemis Arts

Artemis Arts offers online and in-person violin and fiddle lessons, as well as music theory, ear training, competition and audition preparation, and composition lessons.

Helping your child progress as a musician and young artist is difficult. Choosing the right teacher, motivating them to practice, overcoming stage fright, preparing for auditions — it’s easy to feel a bit overwhelmed. Learning to play the violin is a beautiful gift to give your child, but without the right guidance for practice and performance, it can be frustrating and complicated.

As a Juilliard graduate and teacher with over 20 years experience, I help each student learn the skills they need to thrive, creating music that’s as unique as they are. In initial lessons, we'll determine where they struggle, where they shine, and what they want to achieve. Then, a dynamic learning plan is created that’s personalized for them, and helps you and your child succeed.  For composition and music theory instruction, our faculty members have over 50 years of combined teaching experience, and have helped dozens of young artists achieve their best.

Register today, and instead of wondering whether they could be making more progress, start seeing them build confidence, musicality, and technique as violinists.

Excellence

We've helped hundreds of students achieve their personal best as violinists, including developing the practice skills, advanced technique and repertoire, and helping them succeed in auditions and entrance exams.

“People with goals succeed because they know where they’re going.”

— Earl Nightingale

Recordings at the Ready

Whether in person OR online, every session is recorded so lessons can be re-watched anywhere, anytime.

Checking tricky sections and hearing them played back during practice can save countless hours of work.

Community

Music is better together, and the Artemis Arts Studio provides opportunities for all students to perform for one another in “Works in Progress” online classes, as well as taking part in sight-reading challenges, group projects, and our "Student Hero" Practice competition.

Personal Portfolio

Twice a year, each student records a selection of pieces they’ve learned, professionally mixed and mastered by Indigo Fox Media. These recordings help students see their progress, and allow family and friends to share the musical progress!
